MONTICELLO,MO. -- A Clark County Missouri woman who tried to smuggle cigarettes to an inmate at the Lewis County jail in Monticello is now facing charges herself.

Sheriff David Parrish says Sylvia Bittner tried to throw cigarettes over the fence and into the rec yard.

The problem is that she parked her car a couple of blocks away and left a 10 month old baby in the car unattended.

Police caught her and when they searched her car they found some marijuana and when they searched her house near Kahoka they found some methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia
