Federal officials have granted federal disaster assistance in 29 Missouri counties hit by floods, tornadoes and other severe weather this summer.

The disaster declaration lets local governments be reimbursed for 75 percent of the costs to repair storm-related damage.

Four counties in our area are on the list.

Adair, Clark, Lewis, Scotland were all declared disaster areas.
