BASCO, ILL. -- Meth may be to blame for a fire in Quincy on Wednesday.

When crews arrived on scene, smoke was coming from the attic at 1418 Hampshire.

Investigators now say meth making materials caused the fire.

There was no electricity or gas running into the home.

The fire started on the third floor leading to the attic.
