Casey's General Stores is in talks with 7-Eleven after it received an unsolicited buyout offer from the convenience store operator.

7-Eleven made the offer last week to buy the company for 40 dollars a share in cash.

Casey's has several stores in the Tri-State area and is based in Ankeny, Iowa.
