HANNIBAL, MO. -- Election Day may be over, but you can still cast your vote through November 30th.
That vote will help out the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum in Hannibal.
It's in the running for a $250,000 grant from Pepsi.
If it gets the grant, the money will go to finish the inside of the Becky Thatcher House, which has been closed for remodeling for two years.
"What we're going to do in the Becky Thatcher is interpret childhood when Samuel Clemens was a boy. We're going to talk about Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn, Becky Thatcher. We're also going to interpret the stories of slave children which is a story that hasn't been told in Hannibal," says Ryan Murray, Marketing & Community Relations Manager.
Now here's where you come in.
The museum needs votes at www.refresheverything.com/savemarktwain.
You can vote twice a day though November 30th...which coincidentally would be Mark Twain's 175th birthday.
You can also text your vote to Pepsi by sending the number 104141 to 73774
