QUINCY, ILL. -- A scheduled water service interruption will occur Thursday, November 18th beginning at 7:00 a.m. and lasting until 3:00 p.m.

The City of Quincy will be working to replace a defective gate valve located at 40th and Broadway.

The water shut off will impact homes and businesses from 3921 to 4211 Broadway on the North side of street.

Once service is restored, a 48-hour boil order will be in effect.
