Hannibal fined for sanitary sewer overflows

Hannibal Board of Public Works has been fined 16 thousand dollars for sanitary sewer overflows, that violated clean water laws.
The fine from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, was announced Thursday.
The state noted seven sanitary sewer overflows from February through April of this year.
Three of the overflows were cited as violations of theĀ Clean Water Law.
