QUINCY, ILL. -- The Adams County Sheriff's Office has confirmed the arrest of 28-year-old John Knowles for a felony charge of possession of controlled substance.

On Tuesday, November 30 at 1:30 p.m. officers conducted a search warrant for methamphetamine and cannabis at 1102 Hutmacher Road in Quincy.

During the search of the residence they located and seized methamphetamine, cannabis, US currency and drug paraphernalia.

Knowles is lodged in the Adams County jail without bond.
