HANNIBAL, MO. -- The director of the Hannibal Convention and Visitors Bureau is leaving the job.

Beau Hicks handed in a letter of resignation this week.

He says he's going to stay in the tourism industry and has a couple of different projects in the works.

HCVB President Steve Ayers says the board hasn't met to discuss the letter but plans to meet soon.
