Some local school districts receiving state money

Published reports from across Central Illinois are indicating some school districts are receiving state aid payments that have been delayed for several months.

According to the Jacksonville Journal Courier, the Beardstown Illinois School District is completely caught up with all late payments from the state.

While the McDonough County Voice reports that an early childhood program in Macomb that was shutdown earlier this year will be back up and running after receiving some money from the state.

We checked in with the Quincy School District and they say they're still waiting on state aid money that was due to them earlier this year.
