QUINCY, ILL. -- The Adams County Board approved a new tentative contract with paramedics and EMT's.
The finance committee chairman reported that a labor agreement had been reached with workers for the ambulance service.
The three-year pact calls for no raises in the first year, and 2 percent hikes in each of the second and third years.
The board also approved requests for transportation appropriations, including $2-million dollars from the county motor fuel tax funds for 2011 county highway maintenance.
