QUINCY, ILL. -- The weather has been cold outside but that hasn't stopped our Gold Medal Moves Family from working out.
This week, we followed them to an appointment with Dr. Biggs at Quincy Medical Group.
They asked him and QMG's Carrie Kimber questions about exercising, stretching, and aches and pains.
After that, they went for a walk around Quincy University's indoor track.
We caught up with them Saturday afternoon at QU to see how they're doing.
"Things have been going really well. We've had opportunities for winning the featured family that we haven't had," said Dana Herring.
"We've been here at QU exercising. We went to Sheridan Swim Club and did aqua aerobics," said Julie Herring.
"I like the swimming. It was the water aerobics, which I've never done before. You actually get little weights out. It was hard but it was fun," said Katrina Kroeger.
"We seem like we have a lot more energy than we did a week ago. So, we're enjoying that," said Julie.
"I've had a lot of energy this week. Noticed a lot of energy, sleeping much better. So, yeah, I've noticed a big difference in just my overall attitude towards exercising," said Dana.
We will continue to follow the three sisters on their journey to health.
Their next official weigh in is at the half way mark, in two weeks.
