WEVER, IOWA -- UPDATED: January 25 at 4:16 p.m.
The State Medical Examiner released autopsy results on the deceased person found Monday inside the burned Green Bay Tap in Wever, Iowa.
The deceased has been positively identified as 47-year-old Kenneth Allen Thomas of Denmark, Iowa.
The cause of death has been ruled smoke inhalation.

There is concern that the cause of this fire might not ever be known because of the intense heat.
An initial caller said flames were two stories high, so it's believed the fire was burning quite some time before it was reported.
The Lee County Medical Examiner is on vacation, so the body was taken to Ankeny for identification.
No word on how soon that ID might happen.

The name of a deceased person found inside the Green Bay Tap will not be released until investigators can determine a positive id through an autopsy.
The name will also be withheld until next of kin can be notified.
Firefighters found the body after examining the fire scene, and after battling the fire for several hours before the flames could be extinquished.
Emergency responders were called to Green Bay Tap at 3546 170th Street in Wever at 2:34 a.m.
The State Fire Marshal's Office was called at 3:10 a.m. to assist.
Six fire departments and Lee County EMS assisted at the scene of the fire.

KHQA's Jim Whitfield spoke with an unnamed neighbor who said he looked out his window and saw flames coming from both the roof of the structure and from the windows.
The fire is currently under investigation.

One fatality is confirmed from an overnight fire at the Green Bay Tap establishment in Wever, Iowa.
Fire Chief J.D. Henshaw tells KHQA that fire crews were on the scene until at least 9:00 a.m. Monday morning.
