MACOMB, ILL. -- Thousands of people are expected to pass through Macomb this weekend. They're heading over to the annual Agricultural Mechanical Show at Western Illinois University.

Throughout the weekend, you can hear about the latest trends in farming and health and what's hot in the agriculture field.

"There's stuff for the little kids here, the toy show upstairs and crafts at the other end. If you're maybe a highschool student, there's a bunch of Ag clubs here, I think 14. Just every age group has something to do. One place people are going to a lot is the Illinois Soybean Association. It has a 'High Yield' challenge going on now. It's a very rewarding program that's trying to meet the demands of today's food market," said Joe Dickinson, The vice president of advertising for the WIU Ag Mech Club.

The event's taking place at Western Hall. You can visit Sunday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
