UPDATED: February 24 at 11:30

Police say no injuries were reported when a Ford Explorer crashed into the front of Rent A Center at 2535 Broadway in Quincy at approximately 11:15 a.m. Thursday.

The driver of the vehicle told police officers that the brakes failed causing the crash.

The Ford Explorer took out three large glass panels before coming to a stop partially inside the store front.

Right now they are preparing to pull the vehicle out of the store with a tow truck.

Employees of the business don't have a plan on what to do with the smashed front windows just yet, they told KHQA's Jim Whitfield that it's not every day that you have to deal with something like this.

No more information has been made available to KHQA at this time.
