Citizen's Emergency Response Training

Conducted by the Quincy Fire Department and the Adams County Citizen Corp Council
With disaster in the news each day following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, people everywhere are left with questions about all emergencies.
The Quincy Fire Department wants to make sure you're ready for a disaster.
In conjunction with the Adams County Citizen's Corp Council the department will conduct Citizen's Emergency Response Training starting March 22nd.
It's open to the public and will introduce participants to skills they need to help family and friends in the event of a natural disaster or emergency.
The class will require the participants to do some basic physical tasks such as crawling and lifting.
Five classes will be held:
March 22nd
March 24th
March 29th
March 31st
April 5th
All classes will got from 6 to10 p.m. at the Quincy Regional Training Facility at 2021 N. 18th street.
Upon successfull completion of the class, participants will receive a backpack filled with supplies that will enable them to perform the skills learned in the class.
Classes are free of charge, but space will be limited.
