FORT MADISON, IOWA -- The Fort Madison City Council was going to hear the second reading of an ordinance to allow golf carts to be driven in the Pen City.  But now that item was taken off the city council agenda at the request of council members Tim Waggoner, Chris Greenwald and Brad Randolph.

Fort Madison City Manager Byron Smith says he's not sure if the issue will be brought back in front of the council or if the issue is dead.
