KEOKUK, IOWA. -- A retirement center in Keokuk is wanting to build a $2,000,000 addition to their campus to help senior citizens who need a place for short term rehabilitation before returning to their own home.
River Hills Village is asking the State of Iowa to approve their license application.
If approved, the "Bounce Back" building will feature 26 private or semi-private rooms.
It will also have a gymnasium and a separate dining room from the rest of the facility.
There is no word on when a letter of approval will come from the state.
