Quincy man faces several charges after Thursday night arrest

A Quincy man is in custody and facing charges for drugs and resisting arrest.
QUINCY, ILL. --
Brandon Gilker was stopped by police Thursday night.
Officers discovered that he had an suspended license.
When they tried to remove him, he fought with officers while being handcuffed.
In a later search, officers also found what was believed to be methamphetamine on him.
He is in custody in the Adams County Jail.
