QUINCY, ILL. -- The recent tornado and aftermath in Joplin, Mo. is a scary reminder about the importance of disaster preparedness.
Microchipping is the only sure way to make sure your pet's information is readily available, as collars can come off and tags can be lost.
The Quincy Humane Society will host a microchip clinic at the Quincy Petco Store this Saturday, July 16 from 1 to 3 p.m.
The charge is $10.00, which covers the procedure done by the humane society's veterinarian and chip registration.
For more information, you can call the Quincy Humane Society at (217) 223-8786.
Is your pet already microchipped? We'd love to hear from you! Post your comments below or on our Facebook page!
