QUINCY -- This week doesn't seem to be bring much relief from the heat.
The National Weather Service has now issued a Heat Warning for the KHQA viewing area starting Tuesday afternoon.
Temperatures will continue to be in the upper 90s through next week.
One of the best places to cool off is the pool and both Wavering and Indian Mounds Pools in Quincy have been extra busy during the past 2 weeks.
More then 13 hundred people attended the pools daily.
We spoke with Mike Bruns with the Quincy Park District about how they decide to offer dollar admission.
When the National Weather Service issues a Excessive Heat Warning they lower admission to a dollar to get into the pools.
We reported earlier that the prices were full price again, however, with the change to Heat Warning prices have been reduced to a dollar again!
The dollar entry fee will be good for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, so make sure you and your family take advantage. (And maybe even post photos on our Facebook page?)
