Cedar Creek plan unveiled

Public get look at planned expansion
The Quincy Park District gave the community a chance to see new plans for the Cedar Creek Linear Parkway Thursday afternoon.
QUINCY, ILL. --
Right now the parkway runs from 12th to 18th street.
The new phase of the project will extend the trail west to 5th street, just north of the railroad tracks.
It will end with a small parking lot.
The cost for the original project was a little more than 1 million dollars.
