SHELBINA, MO -- The Shelby County Food Pantry, Shelbina, has been approved for $256,095 in tax credits.

The Shelby County Food Pantry provides: emergency food assistance to low income individuals and families, a Summer Food Services program for children, and a Senior Citizens Commodity Supplemental Food program, for residents of Shelby County and border regions of surrounding counties.

Donations received as part of this NAP project will be used to acquire and renovate the vacant Snider Implement Building located in Shelbina, enabling the organization to increase the number of families receiving emergency food assistance and to implement a Buddy Back Pack program for children.
