HAMILTON, ILL. -- A Hamilton couple's home is becoming a Christmas display hot spot.
Every year Duane and Peggy Swartzbaugh turn their yard on Laurel Street in Hamilton, Illinois into a Christmas-themed display.
This year they made 45 wooden penguins for their winter wonderland. The entire display is lit and set to music.
But they say this is no normal christmas display. They began working on all these wooden penguins back in January. Since they erected the display, every night they have around 50 cars driving by to view it.
They say it's a labor of love.
Peggy Swartzbaugh said, "I love it. I wouldn't give it up for anything in the world. If we can make one person smile then I've done my job.
Duane Swartzbaugh said, "If they come this year, they won't see the same thing next year."
In fact Swartzbough says next year's display will be a full-size nativity scene.
The couple also always includes a patriotic christmas display and patriotic music to pay tribute to our soldiers serving overseas.
You can find the festive home on Laurel Street in Hamilton across from the High School.
