QUINCY, ILL. -- They've been an eye sore for months and now they are coming down.

The Quincy Herald Whig reports a group of buildings across from the Kroc Center on Broadway are coming down.

Bank of Quincy took possession of the buildings in the fall because of foreclosure.

The buildings were a safety concern because they were so dilapidated.

The hope is the buildings can be down in 90 days.
