HANNIBAL, MO. -- The Hannibal Chamber of Commerce held its annual banquet Saturday night.

"It's personal" was an appropriate theme for an event that brought together all four hundred members of the Hannibal Chamber of Commerce and local community groups.

This event has taken place in Hannibal for over a hundred years, this year at the Quality Inn and Suites. Organizers look at the event as a celebration of last year's accomplishments and a way to start looking at next year's agenda.

"It's a chance for everybody to get together, primarily networking. We have 400 plus members, as you can see we have a really large crowd so it's a really good opportunity for people to get together to kind of cherish what we've done in the past year here in the community and just try to work together making it a better place," said Terry Sampson, executive director of the chamber.

The board takes time to pick a theme every year, including a color scheme. This year taupe and silver filled the banquet room.
