You've got to hear this story out of Fort Madison.

A local business owner discovered a note in her shop 28 years to the day it was written.

According to the Fort Madison Daily Democrat, the owner of the Funky Cowgirl boutique was beginning some renovations in her shop on Monday.

A contractor tore down some wall paper and discovered a handwritten note from a little girl, Rae Ann Rump, dated in her handwriting written Monday, Feb. 6, 1984.

Turns out her family used to own the building.

The coincidence has people who saw it on Facebook getting goosebumps.
