KEOKUK, IOWA -- Four Keokuk residents were arrested Thursday on charges related to the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
Casey Joe Davis, 29, of the 100 block of Des Moines Street was arrested Thursday on charges of conspiracy to manufacture more than five grams of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a park and in the presence of a minor. He's also charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, delivery of marijuana, maintaining a drug house and three counts of 24 hour pseudoephedrine purchase violations. If convicted, he faces up to 57 years in state prison.
Brandy Davis, 25, of the same address was arrested on similar charges, but was not charged on the pseudoephedrine purchase violations. She faces up to 52-years in state prison.
Taylor Carroll Dickens, 25 and Kenneth Lee Kellum, 25, were also arrested on numerous drug charges related to methamphetamine manufacturing. Each faces up to 35 years in state prison if convicted.
The arrests stem from an investigation into marijuana sales in Keokuk. A search warrant executed at the Davis home uncovered items indicative of the shake-and-bake method of methamphetamine manufacturing.
The Lee County Narcotics Task Force spearheaded the investigation.
