The Marion County Water District asked customers around rural Philadelphia, Mo. and beyond to conserve water last Tuesday, but that conservation request has been lifted.

The system is back to normal, according to a Monday news release.

The water towers were not filling up to capacity last week and the district wanted residents to avoid filling pools, washing cars and watering gardens.
