BEIJING, CHINA -- The sale of AMC Theaters is almost complete.

The Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. is the latest to give its stamp of approval for Chinese company Dalian Wanda Group to buy the theater chain, which has two theaters in Quincy.

Everything should be complete sometime next month.

The names of the AMC theaters are not expected to change.

It's also reported that the Chinese company will spend about 500 million dollars to reduce debt and upgrade AMC theaters around the country.
