MISSOURI -- It's primary night in Missouri.

There are a number of important issues facing Missouri voters including prayer in school, a Republican senate primary as well as a proposed library tax in Palmyra.

Voter turnout was expected to hit 25 percent.

In Marion County, voters will decide the fate of the Bicentennial Library.

The library is running a deficit of $2,000 to $3,000 per month and can only remain in operation another 18 to 20 months with funds on hand. Voters are being asked to approve a 15 cent property tax per $100 assessed valuation that will cover the library's financial needs and allow for technological and other upgrades.
