TIMEWELL, ILL. -- A rural Timewell man is headed to prison for five years in connection with the 2010 shooting death of his wife.

61-year-old David Dunn was convicted of involuntary manslaughter earlier this year for using a gun in a reckless manner that killed 56-year-old Christine Dunn, at the couple's home in rural Timewell.

Originally, it was thought that Dunn and his wife were moving guns out of their couple's travel trailer in rural Timewell when she was shot in the head and died.

A later indictment alleged Dunn acted in a reckless manner by discharging the rifle.

Back in 2010, Brown County Sheriff Tom Snowden said the couple had recently sold their house near Timewell and were moving into a fifth wheel camper when the accident occurred.
