QUINCY, ILL. -- The Adams County Coroner's Office and the Quincy Police Department have released autopsy results performed on the body of Nancy Streitmatter.

The autopsy indicated her death was the result of a head injury.

Streitmatter's remains were found on Oct. 8, 2012 during a fire investigation at 219 Oak.

The investigation into her death continues with all possiblities being examined from homicide to accidental death.

QPD says it has not focused its investigation on a specific circumstance or individual.
