QUINCY, ILL. -- A Quincy man will face the judge Tuesday morning on charges of sexually abusing a young girl a decade ago.

61-year-old James Coons is charged with predatory criminal sexual abuse for allegedly preying on a seven-year-old girl back in 2002.

Police say the abuse continued until 2007.

Quincy police started their investigation after the girl contacted them last year.
