Yesterday at 4:40 PM  It was a packed house for the Trades, Labor and Machinists Union 25th Annual Labor Day Picnic in Quincy Monday. Around a thousand people including union members, current and retired, and their families celebrated the holiday at the Machinists Lodge 822 on North 5th Street.

Yesterday at 4:36 PM  One of the biggest Labor Day parades in the Tri-States rolled through Keokuk's Main Street this afternoon. This year's parade drew in 100 entries including floats, bands and dignitaries.
