Illinois education standards rise despite failing grades

Illinois test scores continue to struggle as the state's standards hit an all time high. The state's report card out this week shows the No Child Left Behind standards, or the adequate yearly progress, failed 15 out of 18 school districts in four counties: Adams, Pike, Hancock and Brown. The three schools that met the standard all reside within Hancock County.
