TUCSON, ARIZ. (AP) -- Wilfredo Ledezma allowed two hits in four innings and the Padres concluded a three-day trip to Tucson with a 5-0 victory over the Chicago White Sox Tuesday.
Ledezma is trying to beat out Justin Germano, Shawn Estes and Glendon Rusch for a spot in the rotation. If he doesn't make it, he could wind up back in the bullpen.
Paul McAnulty led off the sixth with a homer off Chicago starter John Danks.
Danks struggled early before settling down. He allowed four runs and four hits in 5 1/3 innings, struck out seven and issued two walks.
