TAYLOR BAXTER, Palmyra Softball/Basketball
Soggy field conditions at both LaPlata and Monroe City killed off today's expected Sectional Softball title matches.
That puts Palmyra's quest for an unprecedented four MSHSAA state titles in four consecutive years on ice for another day.
And while the Lady Panthers have done a phenomenal job avoiding any talk of "four-peats" this entire fall, the greatest pitcher ever to hurl a softball in Northeast Missouri...and perhaps anywhere in the state in any class, finally broke the vow of silence...just a little.... on Tuesday.....
