A lot can happen in 10 days; for Marion County, 10 days allowed them to forget about heartache and embrace an incredible journey

Ten days ago, the Marion County Lady Mustangs sat quietly in a postgame press conference after clinching the 3rd place trophy in Class 1A. It was difficult to find cause for celebration after their ultimate goal of a second-consecutive state title was dashed the night before. But that was ten days ago - Sunday afternoon, the team displayed a different attitude, one of pride and accomplishment, in front of the community that stood behind them all season long.
