The West Central Illinois Baseball League sports a throwback feel with wooden bats

In an era where it seems wooden baseball bats have fallen by the wayside, the West Central Illinois Baseball League continues one of baseball's classic traditions every Saturday. Formed 4 years ago, the league is comprised of 6 teams from both Missouri and Illinois, and every player agrees: there's something special about the crack of the bat.
