Police discover damage overnight

QUINCY, IL. -- Some Quincy residents woke up to an unpleasant sight Tuesday morning.

The Quincy Police report that mailboxes on South 8th street between Valley Road and Klondike & on Klondike between 8th and 12th street were damaged when somebody threw what looks like large pumpkins at them.

The damage was discovered just before 1:30 Tuesday morning.
