Often overlooked, the motocross culture here at home is much bigger than one might expect
Its definitely not your average sport. But motocross holds a special place in the lives of Alan and Clayton Waelder of New London. The father-son duo are diehards for the adrenaline rush brought on by dirt and exhaust, and are part of a much larger motocross following right here in the Tri-States. Even though it flies mostly under the radar due to the small number of tracks in the area, the sport has caught on locally with riders of all ages. The sport allows for more than the thrill of the checkered flag; it gives families and friends the opportunity to get together and ride.
