QUINCY, ILL. -- Authorities could be a step closer to solving the mysterious death of a Quincy woman.

Quincy police say laboratory results from the autopsy of 48-year-old Nancy Streitmatter have been provided to the Adams County Coroner.

The coroner will provide a copy to the forensic pathologist who conducted the autopsy.

The pathologist's report is expected to be completed in the next two weeks.

Streitmatter was last seen around 8th and Ohio Streets.

Her body was found October 8th under debris from a fire the night before at Salvage Lumber at 219 Oak Street.

Due to the suspicious circumstances of the fire and Streitmatter's death, Quincy police are treating the investigation as a homicide.

Quincy Regional Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information regarding the Salvage Lumber fire and Streitmatter's death.

If you have any information, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at (217) 228-4474.
