Quincy Native cards two eagles in a four under round of 68, three strokes off the pace

LUKE GUTHRIE OPENS WITH A FLOURISH AT FARMERS INSURANCE OPEN

Through one round of the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, Tiger Woods and Quincy's Luke Guthrie boast the exact same score.

The Quincy Native opened with a wild ride throught the Torrey Pines South Course, finishing his front nine by holing out from 67 yards for Eagle. He would post a second Eagle on his second nine with a shot from the sand on the Par 5 Sixth Hole. Luke added four birdies and four bogeys to finish with four under 68, tied for 20th place and  three strokes off the pace being set by defending champ Brant Snedeker and KJ Choi.

KHQA/CBS will broadcast the final two rounds of the Farmers Insurance Open on Saturday and Sunday.
