Fire damages Quincy home

QUINCY, ILL. -- Firefighters were called to 1416 Silverthorne in Quincy around 7 a.m. to find smoke coming out of the attic.

Crews worked to remove the roof near the chimney to find the source of the fire.

The freezing temperatures made firefighting difficult for crews on the scene.
