LEWIS COUNTY, MO. -- Gregory G. Garner, 17, of Ewing, Missouri, was arrested Monday and charged with the Class C Felony. The charge is possession of an explosive or incendiary material.

Lewis County Sheriff’s deputies conducted an investigation last week and learned that Garner had in his possession chemicals to manufacture gun powder. The investigation revealed that the chemicals had been stolen from a Highland High School science room.

There is no indication at this time that Garner intended on harming anyone or anything.

Garner appeared before the associate court and was released after posting a $10,000 cash bond.
