Second Snow Emergency lifted for Quincy

QUINCY, ILL. -- Quincy Mayor John Spring lifted the Snow Emergency for the City at approximately 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26.

The Snow Emergency was issued Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 and set to last through Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013 at 11:59 p.m.

The Snow Emergency applies to the designated Snow Routes with blue signage. Residents are directed to move vehicles from Snow Routes at this time.

Those vehicles not moved are subject to being ticketed and/or towed once there are three inches of snowfall.
