OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A horse that ran sixth in last year's Breeders' Cup Sprint is in the field of eight for the $200,000 Remington Park Sprint Cup.
Sing Baby Sing is scheduled to run in the 6-furlong race on Saturday. Jockey Chris Landeros will be aboard the 6-year-old son of Unbridled's Song.
Sing Baby Sing won the Grade 3 Phoenix Stakes at Keeneland last year before running in the Breeders' Cup in October. He hasn't raced since. The horse is owned by Tom Durant of Grapevine, Texas, and trained by Jack Bruner.
At 3-1, Sing Baby Sing is the second morning-line favorite, behind Sok Sok, a 4-year-old son of Trippi listed at 2-1. odds. At 5-1 will be Ravalo, the winner of the Grade 3 Maryland Sprint Handicap on the Preakness Stakes undercard at Pimlico.
