ST. LOUIS (AP) — The new St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame is scheduled to honor its first 24 inductees.

The event is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday inside the Scottrade Center.

Organizers say the Hall of Fame will honor achievements by current and past St. Louis teams, including the Blues, Rams, Cardinals baseball and football, Browns and Hawks, as well as in bowling, tennis, golf, auto racing, and prep and collegiate sports.

Among the inductees are former Cardinal great Stan Musial, Olympic Gold Medalist Jackie Joyner-Kersee, NFL Hall of Fame member Dan Dierdorf and Harry Keough, a St. Louis soccer champion player and coach.

Historic artifacts at the Hall of Fame include Joe Medwick's 1934 Gas House Gang glove and the St. Louis Rams' Super Bowl XXXIV Lombardi trophy, won in 2000.
