KEN SCHUSTER LANDS AT CENTRAL-SOUTHEASTERN AS ASSISTANT COACH

Just call him the "coach to be named later" in the Adam Brumbaugh "Trade."

Ken Schuster was hired Thursday as an assistant girls basketball coach to Matt Long, giving Central-Southeastern one of the most veteran and decorated coaching staffs Tri State Girls Basketball has ever produced.

Schuster, whose coaching contract at West Hancock was not renewed despite two Final Four appearances and a state title in the last three seasons, will continue to teach at Nauvoo. In a strange twist, he assumes the seat on the Panther bench held not so very long ago by Adam Brumbaugh, the man chosen to replace him as the head coach of the West Hancock Girls Basketball program.
